Introduction

There are a number of brilliant, adjacent communities working to improve humanity’s future—Effective Altruism, Rationalism, Emergent Ventures, Silicon Valley Tech, Progress Studies, etc. Many of these communities overlap and are starting to converge and collaborate, but given how pressing some of the issues facing humanity in this century are, this convergence should be accelerated. Through the Future Forum, we want to arm many more of the world’s brightest minds with the tools they need to tackle global problems, be it funding or great mentors.

About Future Forum

The Future Forum Conference is a 4 day event that will bring together 250+ highly promising individuals from these communities together, facilitate the sharing of resources and expertise, scale and heighten the ambitions of participants and connect highly talented, idea-rich people with funding.

Already, Future Forum has helped accelerate 20+ highly promising individuals through the EA ecosystem and Emergent Ventures, and led to the creation of 10+ startups and projects. We estimate that this event can intensify this acceleration by helping forge a stronger network between these communities and overall speeding up the convergence timeline by 5 years.
